Default part number for v70 t5 maf

just wondering if anyone knows the correct part number. I have recently bought a 98 v70 t5 and whilst checking over it I've noticed the previous owners stuck on and unbranded maf with no part numbers whatsoever.. a quick search online brings up 2x part numbers 0280217107 and 0280218108. many sites list both as fitting however i suspect the 108 is for the me7 engines. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Hi Gordon,

I dont have any in front of me, but I think 107 and 108 have different diameter housings.

I'll try to measure the diameters (of the outside of the housing and I'll measure both ends - air box end and other end).

Then I think that will tell you what you've got.

HTH
Steve

Hi Gordon

OK I looked at 2 MAFs that I have.

R reg T5 with cable operated throttle
MAF is 0280217107, has a 4 pin connector and the intake and outlets are around 70mm diameter

S reg T5 with electronic throttle
MAF is 0280218108, has a 5 pin connector and the intake and outlets are around 80mm diameter

Photos attached

Hope that helps.
Steve
