diameter of hose

I am going to fit a bailey twin piston dump-valve to my 96 850 t5 manual.
I need to buy a "t-piece" alloy or silicon adapter to cut into the pipe so i can fit the d/v on top. What diameter do the ends of the t-piece have to be, i have measured roughly the pipe to be 58mm in diameter, but thought i would ask on here first.

I would suggest buying the bailey t5 fit kit.
