Correct, but it didnt have a gun attached to it - blooming big crane and an excellent dozer blade - for some reason we never had an issue with car parks or getting blocked in by traffic

If you can get 40-50mpg from your MY12 D5 manual your a lucky guy. Mine is showing 35.4 on the dash and is showing 33.8 on fuelly.

I would be very surprised if anyone can get more than 38 on dash(36mpg on fuelly) in normal driving, on the motorway you cant even get this at the national speed limit!

That's unusual on the dash at 70mph cruise it reads about 48 - 55mpg. Up hill reads about 39mpg. Down hill about 70 - 80mpg.
