  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

What is the difference in oil and can you mix it 2011 1.6 T3 engine ?I am only asking as I need to top up but I don't know if it has mineral or synthetic in.

Best to avoid anything other than fully synth in a turbo engine....

Oil is not hard to find so best just top up with the correct slippery stuff.

Whatever the spec says in your owners manual is what you need. So long as it fully meets (or exceeds) this spec then it doesn't matter.

I should have said I have about 10 litres of the correct synthetic oil but I do not know what is already in the car.Reading my owners book it says if its been serviced at a Volvo dealers they should use mineral oil,but I don't know where it's been serviced.Anyway I will use my synthetic oil.Thank's all.

You can mix mineral and full, but try and get correct spec.
