Default 2015 XC60 Instrument Panel Colour and Contrast

I have just bought a 2015 XC60 and I am trying to find out how I adjust the colour and contrast in the instrument panel display.
I can switch between themes but I cant seem to get into the menu for colour and contrast. I have done what the handbook suggests (using the Ok button and the scroll wheel) without success. can anyone help please?

Thanks in anticipation

No idea but to reduce/change the backlight it’s the wheel near the headlight controls

If you can get to themes just keep scrolling the wheel until you get to contrast.
The only colour change is from choosing a different theme though.

Thanks for your reply. I can get to the contrast section by scrolling through but when I presss ‘ok’ it doesn’t enter the sub menu and allow to alter the contrast. Am I doing something wrong?

Default Trim level

Hi, do you have the relevant trim leve?
SE Lux, colour and contrast can be alterered
SE trim colour and contrast fixed.
The above is my belief rather than certain knowledge.
Maybe a w/o rd with dealer would help.

The contrast change is very subtle tbh, so it might be changing without you realising?

My car is a D5 SE lux Nav.

With the Themes menu when you press 'ok' it gives you the different options. With colour and contrast nothing happens

Probably this. There is no submenu.

Put it on performance theme so there is the biggest change. When you select contrast and click ok, the red bits will turn to dull red.

You will now find the colour option comes up. When you select colour and click ok, it will become brighter red again.

Completely useless in my opinion but hey ho.
