Inherited XC 60 17 plate questions
Evening all ... Just joined as I've inherited a xc60 as a company car.
It's the pre face lift version, R Design, manual, diesel It's not my first Volvo as I have had a 460 and an S40 in the past Few questions which I'm sure have been asked many many times before and I have tried to search them for over an hour before you flame me This version hasn't got parking sensors... Has anyone retro fitted any? Preferably the rear Replacement H7 bulbs ... The standard ones are quite dated and looking for a bulb upgrade if anyone has done one And finally RAL paint codes .... I hit a Pheasant after two days of ownership and lost the plastic tow hook cover on the front ... I've got a black one from a scrap yard but want to spray it ... My log book just says "O/Grey" Thanks |

Rear parking sensors kit part number and installation instructions:
https://accessories.volvocars.com/en...CC-490913/2017 Very expensive though (i think about £450 fitted). Personally, If they weren't already fitted I would go with one of the cheap generic sets you can get from Amazon. About £12 and included beeps and a tiny display with actual distance measurements in 0.1 m increments from stop to 0.3m to 1m. Eg. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NSIM1...002ATACEI?th=1 I have one on my old Fiat took less than an hour to fit and prefer it to the display in the Volvo. Try an autoelectrical place and I imagine you can get it fitted for well below £100. |
