Default Fuel Flap Has Come Off

Hi someone heavy handed managed to pull the fuel flap off ,it seems impossible to clip back in.Any ideas how to fix? I took off some interior panels but just seems to be a big metal wheel arch .cant see any access.I was hoping to unscrew the plastic part and refit off the car.

See the sticky post above (from the s80 forum - fuel flap replacement).

If the hinge is ok but the spring retainers have broken then the spring can be held don by the head of a pair of small self tappers.
