this car come with camera fitted to the driving mirror, now when i scan all controllers all things were okay except PDM which has rear right window failure, please i want to know how to solve this problem in other to get the message off, i look on wiring schematics but there is no related info about it, so please help me which module has this incorporate blind spot and what must i check out for... because the panel or cluster has this message display continuously

The cameras in the mirrors works through the relavent door module .. i guess your code reader cant read them .. most likely fault is the heater on the camera lenses . if you leave the ignition on for 5 or 10 minutes you should feel the lenses heat up ..

Now the scan tool i have is Launch master x431, which reads all the controllers but i cannot find the blind spot module, could it be that there is a failure to that module or could it be that the car did not come with that module or what at all need to be done, how does the blind spot works,

anyone with wiring schematic for his system

Read Clan's post again - the BLIS system works through the door module.

There is no Blind spot module .. Any fault codes will be in one of the door modules or perhaps the CEM .. Are the lenses warming up ?

this re the codes in the pdm, and the camera is not warming up

PDM-B1B7087
PDM-B1B7086
PDM-B1B7083

PDM-B117C07

upon this code all, the rear right windows rolls up and down by using the DDM or the RDM controller.

so can this be the reason why the Blind spot is not working and the message on the DIM displaying blind spot need service

Getting somewhere now , so this launch thing doesnt tell you what the codes are? Pretty useless :-)

The last code indicates a problem with the digital signal to the left rear door controller from the left front door controller

The other 3 indicate a problem with the digital signal from the left door module to the left BLIS camera ...

This network signal goes from the door module to the BLIS camera AND the rear door module so that is where your fault is , The wire is green with a white stripe ...

YOu don't seem aware that there is a BLIS camera in BOTH door mirrors ..

when you turn the ignition on and start up the BLIS orange lights should flash about 3 times to show no faults are present .

are you going to do some fault tracing or get a new door module and hope for the best?

I prefer to perform fault tracing why those circuit message,

But you mention if i would like to buy the modules, what re the modules that would need to be replace in case...

secondly the cameras are in the driving mirrors, driver outer driving mirror and the passenger front outer driving mirror...

if i check the COMPUTER DATA LINe which is the grn/white

between the left rear door LDM in the rear door and the right rear door power window swtich, if CONTINUATY or communication is through, then what would be the next thing to check,

quote your message[YOu don't seem aware that there is a BLIS camera in BOTH door mirrors ..] now i only knew of camera being in driver door mirror and front passenger door mirror but for the rear doors, i have no idea of their camera locations... so are you saying there re cameras in the rear doors, therefore as the fault is pointing to the rear right door LIN signal it means there is a fault in the camera of the rear doors...

It would be the Passenger door Module

yes true

if i check the COMPUTER DATA LINe which is the grn/white

the green/white wire goes from the passenger door module to the rear door module and on its way goes to the Passenger BLIS Camera too . It is all the same wire

you need to check continuity by unplugging the bliss camera and rear door module .. check for shorts to Live and shorts to earth ..
also when connected check the digital signals on the wire ..

a LED with a 400 ohm resistor in series is ideal for testing this you can see it flashing fast when there is data on the wire .

[should i check continuity only on the LIN line, if yes, the front right door camera LIN line is connected to the PDM, so how do i check that, looking on the wiring diagram that i have i cannot see the complete wiring diagram routing between the front camera and the rear right door] If you have this schematic please share with me and pinpoint which wires i must emphasize on critically when checking continuity....

.. check for shorts to Live and shorts to earth ..
In which lines or only the LIN

also when connected check the digital signals on the wire ..
[ which of the tool can be use to check for this digital signals, Is Voltmeter okay for this work or i must use the scan tool]

[ This LED you re talking about, can you show me some example online that is build in serials with resistors. I can make my own home type, Now after this LED being ready where should it be connected at, is it at the front passenger door camera harness after unplugging it or is there any different place, would i be carrying any test related to the camera at the driver side as well]

Hope the above diagram is what i need to build in other to make the check with the LED and resistor
Quote of your message:

[the green/white wire goes from the passenger door module to the rear door module and on its way goes to the Passenger BLIS Camera too . It is all the same wire

The LIN line goes separately to this 2 modules, i mean the right passenger front door camera and the rear right door, but all meet at the PDM

that is

Rear Right module LIN moves from pin 20 to the PDM pin 20 in the C1 connector
And the front passenger right side camera LIN also moves from pin 4 to the PDM pin 4 in the C2 connector of same Controller(PDM)

Now you were line the green/white wire goes from the passenger door to the rear door module and TO ITS WAY GOES TO THE PASSENGER BLIS CAMERA{ this statement sound as if there is a joint of wire connecting the same wire that goes to the right rear door module to the front camera... }
