Default Limp mode when cold.

So, I've had a little search on the forum and drawn a blank.

I have a 2010 facelift V70 2.4d 175. I have an issue where it will go into limp mode if i floor it before the engine is up to temperature, once it's warm it is fine. If I turn it off and back on again it disappears.

So far it has had particulate filter sensor and overboost sensor replaced.

The codes I have are:

P029900 - turbocharger A underboost condition.
POT-U300316 and 17 - General electrical failures. Circuit voltage below threshold and above threshold.

I'm not sure what the electrical ones are, my headlights need recalibrating so could be connected to that?

The garage are now suggesting it could be a software issue and I would have to take it to a Volvo main dealer.

Any help or suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

I had on 2 occasions when hot the symptom of the turbo being turned off, an air preasure sensor on the intake, I belive not the MAF sensor and a preasure sensor after the cat were changed. May be helpful to you.
Chasing sensors can quickly become very expencive, I bite the bullet and go dealer first, if they cannot fix it who can. I have a good technician on the diognostics at my dealer.
Same engine in an xc70.

Paul.

Thanks Paul. The trouble I have is the nearest dealer is an hour's drive away.

Luckily I'm not paying as it's under warranty.
