Newbie needs some help. Centre Console Fascia swap.

Hello everyone, I'm Dave, new to the forum and to volvo ownership. Just got a V50 2.0D R-design last week.

Anyway I'm currently trying to change my centre console fascia as it arrived with a fair bit of damage [had a phone holder badly clamped on it i reckon]. I'm using these instructions-

http://accessories.volvocars.com/Acc...2052-1/NOTHING

but I am stuck on 6 which is preventing me from acessing the top 2 torx screws behind the display. I'm trying to push the lcd display out form behind but it ain't budging - is there more to it than just pressing from behind as the instructions put it?
Any help most welcome.

I got it, I was being a bit feeble for fear of breaking it
