The 440 always immobilises immediately the key is turned off. You need to press the unlock on your key fob to turn off the immobiliser - you then have 2 minutes to start the engine. After 2 minutes the car will activate the immobiliser again. Beware not to leave your key fob in the ignition when you leave the car - especially if your keys are in the ignition. The immobiliser system sometimes locks the car doors, leaving you outside looking at your keys inside. Keep the fob separate from the ignition key - or carry a spare key.
