Default V50 Central Locking problem

I have a problem with the central locking in that sometimes when you close the door and press the remote to lock the car, the drivers door remains unlocked but the alarm is shown to have activated by the red led loght flashing.

If I then unlock the car with the remote, open and close the drivers side front and rear doors at the same time and then press the locking on the remote the car locks property.

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

Waggle the wiring connector between the door and the dash. Some of these cars have dodgy connectors and I've had exactly the same issue.

Yes, there is a black block connector for the wiring loom on the inside of the door near the hinge. Sometimes the weather elements can cause it to play up so you might have to reconnect it.

Just supporting what the others say, have a look at the door connector best thing to do just whip it off and give it a good clean rather than messing about every time the problem occurs cause it wont go away.
