Default Stop/restart

I’ve recently bought a used ‘17 V90 D4, I’m not sure if it’s something I’ve done or not, the stop/restart function worked for a few days but has now stopped the the ‘ready’ wording greyed out even with the function switched on, any ideas on what I may or may not be doing wrong, thanks in advance for any help

You probably haven't done enough long journeys, day-after-day to fully charge the battery? Mine hardly ever works because it gets parked up for several days inbetween long journeys.

On mine I can 'drill-down' into the infotainment e-drive menus to find the exact reason(s) for the stop/start being inactive.

I’ve recently bought a used....

is the clue .

you need to charge the battery fully with a decent 10A charger , leave it on for 24 hours or more if you can, the longer the better ... then try it ...

connect the charger red + to the battery + terminal charging tag under the bonnet .

It is very important to connect the charger negative - to the car chassis or engine block as to not upset the battery monitor ...
