Default Replacing Timing Belt etc. what's needed

I've a 2005 XC90 D5, 93k on the clock so timing belt etc. needing changed. Some questions. I've done a search but can't get answers to:

1. I'll change the belt and tensioner(s) - how many tensioners?
2. Anything else to change related to timing belt
3. Genuine Volvo spares- is this needed or do Volvo just use 3rd party bits e.g 'Gates' belt & tensioner
4. Where's best to get the bits - Ebay? or I remember a thread on here where someone was supplying volvo parts?

Thx in advance - Paul

PS great car, none of the possible gremlins this far

Did he change your thermostat too? Part of the volvo cambelt service as it is behind the cambelt and is likely to fail in the next 20000 miles !

yes i believe they did because the guy was telling me he had to se the replacement parts to be sure of how to remove the old one without breaking it.something to do with a small plastic tube that is part of the stat setup.

yes the sensor can go faulty on a certain range of cars ( not all by any means ) , resulting in the haldex not working and posting a fault code . Renewing the sensor for a modified type is the answer .

just a thought as i have no AWD at the moment on my xc90 but cannot turn the propshaft with front wheels on the floor so am looking at other possible faults on the electronic side.
