Does ANYONE HAVE .....
Any old "Remotes" kicking about ????
The "New" 960 does have remote central locking but didn't come with a fob...+ I SUSPECT that locking it by the "Key in the door" method does NOT arm the alarm (Can anyone confirm this for me please) .. So if anyone has ANY old Remotes kicking about can I have/buy em off you's PRETTY PLEASE Cheers Guys Keith

Not got any old remotes sorry, my 440 s40 t4 and my v40 do not arm the alarm when i locked with the key so i would suspect yours will be the same. Has it got sensors inside the car? if so lock your car with the window open wait for about 20 or 30 seconds the wave various body parts through the open window this should trigger the alarm if is active.

That was the case with my 940 Keith. The key in door technique did only that, lock the door.
To sync the key fob to the car simply shut yourself in the car (so all the doors are shut.) and switch the ignition on and off 5 times, leaving it on the fifth. Point the fob to the left hand side of the dash and hold the top button. You should hear a confirmation BEEP lol. Thats how it worked on my 940 anyway im persuming 960s are similar?? |

I have a couple kicking about somewhere, that incidentally came from Alan, so you can have them if I can find them. I'm away next week but will look when I'm back then we just need a mini Blackpool meet and I'll be down with them.
