Question V40 xc (2015) hard wire dash cam.

Hi gang,
I am having trouble finding a suitable fuse to piggy back off, I tried number 82 but that doesn't seem to give power with the ignition on or off, even though there is a fuse there!
The only ones I can find that are switched, are for the 12v sockets in the engine compartment fuse box.
I can't see a way through from there into the interior without drilling behind the glove box! Please help!

I’m not sure why you don’t have power at Fuse 82??
I just fitted my dashcam on my V40 and piggy’d In on Fuse 58 (Rear wiper) - beneath the glovebox. . This comes on when the car is opened and goes off after about 10 mins when the car is locked. Don’t know if you want to try this and see how you go?

Cheers for that, I did try some other fuses, I presumed they weren't switched as they stayed on. I didn't wait 10 minutes.
I'll give that a go, sounds good!
