LPG Problem Yok!
Sorry, finding random bits of Turkish slipping into everyday conversation already.
Took the Volvo inot the only LPG specialist in Marmaris today and had the spark plugs replaced. The old ones were Bosch multi points and were well and truly worn out. Replaced with a set of NGKs as recommended and had the LPG system re-set. Turns out the engine was running really rich at Idle but leaning out alarmingly as the revs increased. This has now been resolved and the car running so much better than it did. Feels like its got almost as much power as when on Petrol whereas before the car was noticably slower. Spark PLugs £12 for all 6 LPG calibration £16 So, less than £30 for all the work and hopefully will gain all that back in with better LPG economy. Back to getting the gearbox cooling sorted now then. |
