Oil filters
In the Haynes manual for the C/S/V 70 the pictures and "how to" show a spin on type filter. My car has a canister type filter fitted-so presumably a difference between early and late models?-can the spin on type be fitted as a direct swap for the canister type or does it then need some kind of adaptor[like the V6 Omega engine does]or can the two not be exchanged at all?

I think the update model (which has a blue grill badge rather than a black one) has the plastic cannister with a paper filter, which replaced the spin on metal one.
You need to get a filter wrench, I got this one and it fits https://www.lasertools.co.uk/Product...mm-x-16-Flutes I did get another one, same size, from eBay and it didn't fit
