Default XC90 d5 fuel consumption

Out of interest what fuel consumption are others getting?

I’ve had my 2010 XC90 d5 a couple of months now and I drive steady, the computer is showing 29.3 average.

Just seen your post, think there's a thread on consumption/miles per tank already, however my 2006 185 d5 averages between 27-29 on the display which on calculation brim to brim fill it's consistently 2mpg less so real world around 25-27 mpg only time I've seen 29-30 real world was crusing at 70mph on the motorway with 50mph average sections it's most economical around 30-40, pushing 70mph the consumption drops considerably any inclines doesn't matter the gradient you'll be looking at low teens too single figures if your unlucky. It's the dpf restriction and dpf regen programme that kills the consumption, add the vehicle weight it's not great.
