My understanding the EZ power steering unit is just the corsa set up. I can't remember all the details but it's the Corsa C model that you want. Here is a link to one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-CORSA...#ht_1702wt_583
This requires an input to the power steering to tell it what speed you are going, this does that: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CORSA-RALLY-EL...ht_1220wt_1141 But it does not actually vary with speed it just tricks the powersteering ecu that the car is doing a certain speed so this determines the resistance. It's like normal unassisted steering in the sense the steering gets lighter with speed. But you can turn the power assisted steering off on the motorway for example therefore not being very light at speed. If you haven't bought a set-up let me know as I have a set-up I bought and won't be using but these are often sold on ebay and when I bought mine it was cheaper on ebay than through my local breakers. If I was you I'd also consider an MX5 steering rack and not worry about powersteering. I have a MX5 without powersteering and it feels great and I think power steering would ruin the feel and the normal steering is easy and not heavy at all. I don't know the technicalities of putting the steering rack in but this is the one I would look at. But the electric powersteering would work well with the Volvo steering box set-up I think. |

No worries and good luck.
Did any later model PV come with electric wipers? That may be the easiest option if they did. If not what is the centre distance of the wipers? |

I'm pretty sure the 544 did. But if not (or you cant get one), I'd start with an Amazon set-up and modify that. Or another alternative could be Saab 96/95. My '75 V4 had two speed electric wipers. John |

The motors are very similar to the ones for 240 estate rear screen wiper I believe. Might be adapable but would be single speed. Possibly by SWF. Also used in VW Beetles, old type.
