Volvo 740 gle 1990

Up for sale is my 1990 740 gle. I brought the car in 2018 and it has been a joy to own. Now coming to realiseation that having 5 cars is too many so this has to go.

The car started off with the b230 n/a engine and an auto box, been an lh2.4 car it was ideal for a turboswap.

I had a 1998 R reg 940 which had been in an accident so I decided to remove the engine and gearbox from it and fit it into the 740. Whilst removed I replaced the head gasket, head bolts, timing belt and tensioner along with plugs, leads, dizzy cap/rotor arm ectt. I also fitted a V cam from an earlier kjet 740 I did fit a 15g turbo buy it started smoking due to worn bearing * still have this stripped somewhere *

The gearbox is the later m90 box it did have a ttv flywheel and 850t5r clutch but this has been removed to be used in another project and a stock dual mass flywheel and clutch have been fitted.

It currently has Bilstein b4 shocks on the front and rear along with a set of 40mm lowering spring, the front suspension bushes have been replaced before I got the car, but since then I've replaced the front anti roll bar for a 940 thicker item, the rear end has got double anti roll bars to help stiffen the rear up.

The interior is pretty much standard, has full electric windows, mirrors sunroof ectt
I have fitted a momo steering wheel boss with an mx5 momo steering wheel which suits the car really well which will be included in the sale.

Do have a few spare and extras which can come with the car if the new owner would like.
