I many a time switch them off.

The front beeps when I tailgate or get in a nice close position to overtake the car in front and the rears bleep when I cut in sharply from the aforementioned maneuver.
Thanks for this great driving tip.

In heavy traffic I sometimes drive in reverse. You would be amazed how other drivers get out of the way. But the reverse sensor bleeps get irritating.

My approach to heavy traffic is subtley different. Being a big fan of Falling Down (with Michael Douglas) I sometimes abandon my car , and set off across the city causing mayhem and death whilst ultimately seeking to be reunited with my estranged wife and child.

What about the old tennis ball on a bit of string tip!

My house was built in the 1950's so you might fit a Morris Minor or Austin A30 in the garage, other than that you'd struggle!

Yep - rear sensors are great, and a revelation having never had them before. But for the front, I use .... eyes (and am gradually getting used to how long the bit of the front is that you can't see. All it takes is getting out when parked a couple of times to see how much more room there is...)

It is rather tiring so I've hacked into the software and using an mp3 file reprogrammed the parking sensor to say "use the force Luke".....

Thanks for the tip. Even though it΄s nightmare driving in and out of the garage
I `am glad I did today for we having a snow storm so even the trouble with a narrow garage is better than having to dig the car free.
