Information

My A/C compressor was seized solid. When I turned on the A/C the clutch was ripped to bits and if I hadn't been aware it would have snapped the serpentine belt which could have taken out the timing belt rendering the engine toast...

My advise would be to remove the serpentine belt and check the compressor isn't seized, The centre bolt/nut on the clutch assembly should turn the compressor to confirm if seized or not
