Towing Hook Blankin Plug

Some kind person has removed and taken the plastic blanking clip/plug fomr my vehicle(S60Saloon),
When the hook is removed and stowed a volvo blanking plug is inserted to fill the aperture left. Any help offered from readers as to obtaing another one, as this first one came with the tow bar fixing kit.

Maybe have to wire this next one.!

You should be able to get the missing part from Brink.

i can get one of these (new, genuine volvo) sent out monday if ordered by 1pm. retail price is £18.89 inc vat, i can get one for £16.05 inc vat plus postage which will be £2.80 Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded delivery.

Volvo dealers can get one .
Obviously more than one type. Theirs is just £4.20.

i just looked again now, you are right there are two different ones, one for the S60 >2004, and one for S60 2005> the one i quoted you for was for the earlier one, the later ones are a lot smaller and therefore a lot cheaper it appears at £4.20 plus vat retail, £4.94 inc vat. Even after the 16.5% discount we would give of this particular item after the postage is added on it will still work out slightly more than retail price. this later one is a lot smaller than the earlier one which is a much bigger cover panel, and they wont be interchangeable.

Sorry about that, its only down to having to guess your car details. I just inputted S60 2004 and went from there. i do check all part numbers in full before ordering as i don't want to get returns!
