Default Long shot....looking for a V70 subwoofer??

I've just bought my V70 and one of the others I test drove had a subwoofer in the boot. OK, so it set the world on fire, but it certainly added a bit of depth to the audio set-up. Something I'd like to add to the new car (I've checked and the plug for the sub lead is there)

If anyone has one of these they're thinking of selling, please let me know?

Many thanks.

The subs come up on fleabay now and again so keep your eys open.

Just make sure that your not confusing the sub-woofer cabling with the tow bar connector that is also sometimes fitted.

I had neither and even after cabling up the sub I found that Volvo no longer have the software available for download which enables the sub to switched on and off automatically (this is for pre-facelift cars).

At the moment mine's running via a manual switch. Not elegant and I'll sort out something better over the winter when I find the time.

Hi Robbie,

Many thanks for the info. I'll certianly keep an eye out on eBay for one. I know it's a slim chance of finding one on here, but if you don't ask.......

My car already has a tow bar fitted so I am assuming (for now) that the spare plug in the boot is possibly for the subwoofer.

I'll keep looking for one of these units, but in the meantime, thanks again for the info.
