Default Replacement wing mirror

Hi

I wondered if anyone has a rough idea of how much it would be to replace the wing mirror of an S40 2006 (06) at a Volvo dealership?

Thanks

Jenny

Glass or housing?

I had a new heated glass fitted in Holland and it was 70 euros.

The actual mirror frame is about £50 i believe but the old one has to be stripped down and wiring and parts transfered , got to be an hour in a dealer ,

Thanks MavUK and Clan, it's the whole thing.

My husband smashed it into little pieces on a concrete fence post earlier today. Luckily there's no body work damage but still, he's not in the best of moods right now!

Any idea what their hourly rate might be? We've £100 excess on the insurance, so weighing up whether to claim or not.

Very nice those , but the lady has the New S40 ... There must be some used ones around though ...

I would think a complete new mirror with labour would be the other side of £200 , why not phone your garage and ask for an exact quote ?

Thanks adamsky01 & Clan

He went to the dealership today to find out a rough idea, they're ringing with it on Monday. Once we know the damage, so to speak, then we'll know if we'll either claim on the insurance or do DIY.
