  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

The solenoid is not for the door locks it controls swirl flaps in the inlet manifold. You need to have your codes read as the can be 100s of fault that can make your car show the orange light.

I had my car case technical and the verdict was that controls swirl flaps in the inlet manifold. My question is, is that it is the same reference of solenoid for all 1.8 engines or not? thank you

Don't think you will find it online as it's a dealer only part as far as I know try your local volvo dealer or ford dealer witch will be cheaper than volvo.

Take the cover off the engine and it's top right above the cam cover. If you look at the pic shown earlier in the thread you will spot it easy
