Having same problem, albeit intermittently, over past 2 weeks - 05 V50 2.0d 6 speed. Anti skid service displayed, followed a few minutes later by car not revving, tick over only. Turn on and off few times and goes fine.

The first time it happened it also had rear brake light bulbs blown, not sure if linked.

Anybody get to bottom of this yet?

For those who had this Anti Skid Service Required and had it diagnosed as ABS Pump module or ECU (fault code BCM-0130), can anybody confirm if the warning stayed displayed on dashboard or was it just intermittent.

Searching of the forum has indicated it could also just be something like a defective battery. Ive also had the display on our XC90, but it just disappeared and didnt go into limp mode or have any obvious side effects.

V50 1600 DRIVe 93k miles............. just had the anti skid service message appear intermittently.
A visit to a workshop and plugging in the computer seemed to indicate that it was nothing more than an intermittent electronic communication failure.
I connected my (superb) CTEK battery charger, (http://www.ctekchargers.co.uk/mxs-3.8.php) which serviced and re-charged what appeared to be a slightly undercharged battery; so I shall now keep my fingers crossed and see what happens!!
