M40 gearbox

Mine unfortunately has stopped finding reverse, so would prefer a swap in replacement before i get mine out and take a look.

Hi,
Have you checked the large nut is tight, which secures the gear lever to the gearbox?

I think the problem is something else like perhaps a Clutch might have been stuck on so i was rocking it in gear on the starter to free it, which usually works but suddenly bang and it wouldn't go in gear, will check the nut though but i think its more likely i broke something in the box abusing it so.....
