For Sale 1988 340GL - Lancashire

I am looking for an owner for my late father's much loved August 1988, F reg, 5 door, Silver, Petrol, 1721cc, Volvo 340GL with sun roof. The mileage is 40,250. Up to date SORN declaration.
Interior and seats are in immaculate condition. Dad always cared for his car and as far as I can see under the dust the exterior is good.
The car has always been garaged It has not been driven since his death 6 years ago but a neighbour recently connected it up to his battery and it started straight away and he said that the engine sounded better than his modern car!
My mother would like it to go to a new home to be driven or used for parts and will consider all offers. The car is in Chorley, Lancs and needs to find a new home by Friday 19 July. Please let me know asap if you are interested.

Thanks for your interest but the car was sold to an enthusiastic Volvo family on Wednesday. Unfortunately I've been without Internet access and couldn't update the site sooner.

Thank you to everyone for their interest and assistance. I have sold the car to a keen Volvo family who are not members of this club as yet but may be soon...
