Default 360GLT Information

We have a 1982 Y plate 360GLT that has been left to us by my farther in law. He had it from new and it has done 46k. We dont know of its worth much or what to do with it. Can anyone advise us please. Thanks Tom from Glasgow.

value depends on condition - rust heaps are scrap value, immacualte pensioner-owned sunday-polished cars are obviously a lot more desirable.

Hi. We are going to sell my father in laws. (Pensioner Drivin) 1982 Y reg with 46k miles. One owner in Silver..360GLT


I want to get it running. Its a Petrol and im sure he used to put 4star in it. But do i need to add any additives ??

The official mod on these B19E engines for unleaded was to fit 2 headgaskets to lower the compression ratio , However our 1983 GLT the same drove 10's of 1000's of miles with no problems , no pinking ... the head already has hard valve seats , just drive it with unleaded ..
Back then altering the timing or lowering the compression ratio to suit unleaded fuel ruined performance drivability AND economy ..
