I have been trying to figure out how Connected Safety works.

If one switches on the Hazard Warning Lights, then I assume a warning would be transmitted, but what triggers a Slippery Road, is what I cannot figure out.
Does anyone have any information on this?
Thank you.

tem.

I would hazard a guess the traction control system would trigger a warning. If you pardon the pun.

I thought about that.
Wheel spin, etc.
But after searching the web, I have not been able to get an answer.
Reason why I posted the question.
Thanks.

I bet the first warnings will start in the autumn or perhaps later in winter.

I've already had a warning in my V60, although the road didn't seem slippery. Patch of oil or something as someone pulled away from the lights was my guess.

What kind of warning did you get, driver display, chime and display, red lights in windscreen etc. Did the warning stay there or just flash on and off.

Driver display and HUD, if I remember correctly. Not sure if there was a chime as there are a million speed cameras in the same area so the car is constantly making noise.
