Where you have the optional laminated rather than std toughened glass in the side windows, it should be clearly marked as such in the corner..
The reason I ask, is mine HAS laminated front door windows, and toughened rears.... I have found that I was getting wind noise some of the time... Turns out that the laminated glass is more flexible than the toughened (reall, you can actually "bend" it with your fingers!" Anyway, I found that when using the auto UP on the windows, the bottom of the glass flexes slightly outward, and in turn slightly "bows" causing the top of the doorskin, and the rubber seal to do the same... Result? Increase in wind noise... Just tapping the DOWN button makes all the difference, you can actually see the outer door skin return to flat against the glass, and the noise goes.... Mike |
