I've just spoken to a mate whose XC90 was in for a service yesterday. Co-incidentally, I had emailed him about the recall yesterday.
When he picked the car up he asked about the recall and if it had been actioned. The dealer didn't know about the recall but upon checking found that my mate's car was affected. It'll have to go back in to be seen to and the dealer said it was urgent (or words to that effect). |

The aircon evaporator (where moisture condenses) and the drain pipe from it are behind the dashboard so it'll probably mean the entire dashboard being removed. Not a trivial job and the labour cost, which presumably Volvo will pick up, will be significant.
