Volvo Extended Warranty have just given me a quote for extending my warranty for a further two years (up to 100k miles) at: £745.
Cannot do anything about it just now, as I have to wait until contacted by Volvo, approximately 2 months before current warranty expires. tem.

Phoned and selected the Customer Service option. Explained that I was thinking of extending my warranty and asked for a quote. Gave my reg number and they could not find the car. Gave the Vin/Chassis number and they still could not find the car. At this point, the CS rep asked when my current warranty expired and when I told him it was October, he stated that it was too early for Volvo to inform them. I would have to wait until Volvo contacted me and them, approximately 2 months before current warranty expires, but in the meantime he could give a quote for the V90: Additional 2 years cover for: £745. If I only wanted 1 year cover, it would be: £395. With already having the 5 year service package, the additional £745 seems reasonable for peace of mind. tem.

Thank you, I have emailed Volvo customer services asking for a quote for my XC90, my warranty lasts until June, so I have a bit of time, I did not want to jump in and buy a one year extended warranty on line if I can save a bit getting a 2 year warranty.

When I contacted the 0344 people they quoted £445 for 1yr and £895 for 2yrs on the XC90, and dealer confirmed it this morning. I can accept that XC90 might be a bit more than V90 - but why should 2yrs be more than twice 1yr?? Ok - only £5 but even so...

While that was my first thought, Tem got a V90 quote for 2yrs that was less than twice the 1yr cost (£745, £395).

I wonder if they will charge me more for having air suspension than those with normal suspension.

I do have air suspension - no idea if their pricing is that sensitive to the specific spec.
