Hi Stu,

Bump!

RICA have had some bad press in recent years due to their previous UK distributor having some "interesting" business practices...but...I don't think there's much wrong with the product itself. The current product of choice seems to be the MTE stuff.

Your sig says the car is a 2.5...presumably it's a 190bhp LPT to start right, right? T5s of that age were all 2.3s. I won't bore you with the details, but the LPT is a little weaker than the T5, so in order to maintain reliability, you don't want to take one quite as far. MTE's software takes the LPT to 230bhp, which is a useful upgrade.

If you want a de-cat, I'd just take it to an exhaust place and get them to weld in a straight pipe, but I'd probably either stump up for a full turboback exhaust with a race cat (not cheap...although Don at Kalmar Union did have a sale on a while ago), or not bother.

cheers

James
