Volvo 240 SE Probate valuation

A very dear friend of mine passed away recently and I have been asked to assist with Probate. She had this L reg Volvo 240 SE for many years and hardly ever used it. I know this is a bit `how long is a piece of string` but the solicitor suggested we approach the forum to get an estimate of value.

Values seem to vary from a few hundred to £10k, obviously depending on condition. I attach pictures.

Details to consider:
The odometer has not worked for some considerable time (speedo is fine).
The two rear wheel arches show rust.
The wiper motor is sluggish on occasions.
It starts very well, drive`s well and looks pretty tidy overall.

Peoples thoughts would be appreciated.
