Default Replacement Fuel Pump has 2 Earths

Help. 1990 UK 740 GL Manual 1986cc got it for 300 quid, runs nae bad. Have a 150,000 854T and a 965 Statestide.

We replaced the in-tank fuel pump with one from the Scrappy. This one has two earths however, one more than the old one. So far, we have burned out the Regulator in the Dashboard. Any ideas where to seat the Earths properly. Replacement pump is working great, no more noise form front pump, nonetheless we are not Sparks!
Thanks
