Was a toss up in that regard but was concerned about the white bleaching out the coloured lens. Think they'll do and are an improvement particularly if they last as long as advertised!

Can't see that as an issue. More likely to bleach from UV from the outside and I wouldn't be concerned about that either.

My meaning rather being that the bright white bulbs would make the lens pink etc. Not sure how conclusive its possible to be in real life and all situations from the comparisons on the web.

Interesting. Don't forget to look at the extra link right at the end of the article re indicators. In my defence I've no experience of led conversions and my comment was based on using coloured standard bulbs. I have used uprated standard bulbs that give about 20-30% more brightness and they are worthwhile IMO. Amazon lights do need some help. It's common for the reflectors, they are only zinc plated, to be dull or corroded. They benefit from being polished with chrome polish if not to far gone. Some careful smoothed on tin foil will also make a big improvement. Both fixes cost you virtually nothing. Chrome silver paint can also help.
