You say 'full service kit' but you will have to let him know if you are also planning to do coolant and brake fluid change too? Well worth it IMHO especially if you don't know when it was last done.

If it is diesel then you might want to think about changing glow plugs and if petrol then think about changing spark plugs respectively. Not forgetting if it is an auto then AFT fluid and even if not an auto you might want to think about a gearbox fluid change anyway.
