The time has finally arrived to start a breaking thread for the blackbeast project! For those that dont know its a '97 V70 T5 so pre me7. The list will be updated as and when parts are removed from the car so keep an eye on the thread. If anyone wants photos of any parts, let me know.

The blackbeast was an amazing project - still got your old wheels on mine, what happened to it ?

Ive had the car since 2005 and just feel that it is time to move on. On various track days at Cadwell and Snetterton I have seen MX5s going round and they look as if they are having so much fun in either lightweight or turbocharged form, so thats what im going to go for next. The chap in the turbod mx5 that I was 'following' at Snetterton I could only just claw back on the straights what i had lost in the corners. Add to that that i have never owned a rwd car before, so i want that experience. An mx5 maybe a hairdressers car or a gay car to some, but to me they just seem like such a laugh and an occassion to drive.

I have had performance RWD all my life until these wretched modern fast FWD motors came along.

A RWD on full opposite lock is an excitement to behold ......nothing like the feel of it on the limit under your own control...even from a standstill up the road sideways

I feel that I have done the fast Volvo thing, seems that we are going in the opposite direction with our choices lol

I will still be in the Volvo fold with T5D5 and the GF will have a V70 D5 once the V70 TDI has died. Just need people to buy my stuff so I can buy another car lol
