With a higher end asking price (especially for a Auto) you really will need to add some photos to spark any interest

Agree Antz: not so much fools tho as bad-mannered. I had similar re a Volvo 164 some months back, after being asked for a valuation for a woman's father's long-time stored car. Never ever having had a computerised MoT since "some" restoration, it looked like a barn-find with layers of dirt.
I did my best also adding that I'd make an offer on it, buying blind and having a several-hundred mile transport cost on top. Then silence..... I repeated my offer then more silence. Then it turned out she had passed its sale to a local dealer - who also hasn't been able to sell it as it still wore the grime of being stored..... couldn't even get the exact model correct despite me telling the original seller. Yes - all time-wasters with little idea of reality. Paul |

Must admit to being rather surprised to find when on joining this forum that members couldn't pm other members until 30 posts had been reached yet first time[sometimes the only time]posters could advertise cars/parts for sale.Would it not be possible to have a minimum post limit before being able to advertise stuff for sale?

The 30 posts to PM is to help protect against spam and fraud.
What does amaze me is the forum thinks where you live is so foul it needs to be censored! |
