Default XC90 Prefl to fl

Hello,
Im about to buy a 2004 Volvo XC90 2.4D. But i don't like the looks, because facelift one looks nicer.

I got a little knowledge of volvos, so i got a few questions.

Does facelift parts fit with the prefl? Bumpers, grilles, tail and head lights?

I found only some info about tailights. But how can i connect facelight headlights to prefl? Is it plug and play or need to modify some wiring?

I would appreciate if someone has the time to explain how to fit them.

Thanks

The tail lights come away quite easily - once you've removed the panels in the boot, it's just too hex bolts holding the clusters in place. Easily undone with a socket set.

I found it easier to then unplug each bulb, leaving the wiring harness in-situ, so it's just swapping clusters.

I can't comment on other parts, but as the XC90 was unchanged apart from these minor cosmetic elements, I would imagine fitments and sizes will the interchangeable. Your mileage may vary, etc.

If you have halogen headlights then you can’t fit the active xenon headlights as they will bring up error messages bye to the different operating voltages and power. If you have the older reflector style xenon headlights then you can fit them but the active part wont work. Whilst the bumpers should fit you would need to check the corresponding panels as I think the rear quaternary ones are also different.
The grille should be a straight swap. If you go for the LED tail light then i believe you need to fit resistors in line to get them to work.

Yes, i dont care for the active thingy, i plan to fit that "older style xenon headlights", does this need some extra resistors also?
And Xenon lights require "headlight leveling sensor", how is this connected? Does 2004 version need some programming or..?
