Default 2001 V70 2.3T5 auto

Hi all

My mate is looking a Drivers side Drive Shaft, for the above 01, T5 Auto with the AW55-50 sn Geartronic 5 spead box.

If anyone has a good one (At a reasonable price, & postage) then plz pm me asap.

I've been told the 2001 S60 T5 also fits and even poss an S80 (Don't know which though).

Hi Andy,
Unfortunatly no its the inner one that has somehow pulled out. The outer ones are easy to get hold off and only about £12 on the bay.

Driveshafts from V70s & S60s that have

BOTH,

Post 2000/2001, - 2005

AW 55-50/51 SN AUTO BOX

&

A TURBO ENGINE

Have part numbers 8602575.

Theres a D5 S60 for breaking on Scumtree in Newry. Might be manual though. Hae you taken the shaft out, I'm told they can be rebuilt on a bench if you have all the bits

Once place to try is Classic Volvo Parts in Wigan 01942 825012 and I wouldn't have thought postage would be too bad for a drive shaft - Mike

Unfortunatly a Manual is no good, I know they're easy enough to rebuild if you have all the bits and there's no damage to what's left, unfortunatly that's not the case.
And thanks for the wigan tip I shall try them.
