Somebody on Facebook in the Midlands breaking an XC70 which I think is manual. It's a 'remove stuff yourself and it's cheap' deal though. I fancied the genuine towbar and cover to fir the R but no point going down, removing it, getting new bolts, and fitting it, just to sell the car. Time is tight enough as it is!

Lovely looking colour and I can see why the original purchaser chose that shade of wood. Delightful and makes my 850 look so dated in comparison.

Agree with the dated aspect... that's why I, during my 855 AWD rebuild went all out and modified my own car to fit a V70 Dashboard. Nothing better than the square-ish lines of an 850 Exterior and smoothed curves of the V70 interior = best of both cars

Still here as I've been away on holidays. Some interest from East Anglia etc. asking for delivery.

It's taxed and insured til Christmas so I'll justify enjoying it til then in my head, if it doesn't sell!

Just this morning I've got the propshaft back in and everything is well with the car!

AWD is perfect with no untoward noises, even turning on full lock which it was doing before, indicating it needed a new bearing. No vibrations either.

As I'm now used to the S60, I jumped into the R and it felt beautifully smooth, responsive, nimble, composed and sporty! The idea of selling the S60 instead and converting this to LPG like my old C70, to achieve similar running costs, is very tempting, but I'm having to let my head rule my heart on this one.

Some strong interest on ebay from Scotland, East Anglia and Germany, all waiting for the propshaft refitting, so it may disappear in the next week or two.

I will say that I turned down a £3500 offer from a member on here shortly after buying the car. The car is in much better shape now, and so that's what I'm basing my price idea on.

Perhaps I should have bitten that forum member's hand off, but I had wanted a V70R in exactly this spec for years, and I know that I won't find another one.
Thats a great car mate, and my favourite colour! Bit pricey for me at the minute, sadly

I don't mind discussing realistic sums with people who will give it a good home!
