Default Replacing anti-roll bar bushes

How easy is it?

I see there is a 'bush kit' available on Eurocarparts for £12.50, which is genuine Volvo parts, which comprises;

614 66 0380 = 30620989 X 2 30620990 X 2 30623966 X 2 945444 X 2

Volvo want £300 to do the job, saying that the subframe, steering rack and exhaust need to be dropped to gain access.

Is this true? Seems a hell of a lot of work for a few parts which cost £12.50.

I'd much rather save my money and do it myself. I'm fairly competent, but I assume access could be the issue.

There right about the subframe, but you can leave exhaust and steering rack where it is,

There not a nice job even on a ramp,

Ta.

I've ordered the parts as it needs to be done and I've asked the mechanic in work to have a look, see if he fancies making himself £50.

If not, I'll take it to a local mechanic. Not a hard job, just awkward.
