V70 2001 Cruise control issue

I have a 2002 V70 that had the same issue.

I used a scan tool to check for error codes and it came back with Clutch Position Sensor error.

I fixed it thanks to Mr Phil Cross:

I don't have a windows 7 laptop but I have VMware Windows 7 pro (sp1) with USB 2 and 3 support if that would work?

a **** remap can break the cruise control on an auto

no. none of that as far as Im aware, one previous old person owner i think.

20 years old and 55k , condition suggested it was mostly dry stored whenever inactive so remapping seems unlikely by someone who would use it so infrequently
