There is and was no reason for either of the filters to have been bypassed. Do you know exactly what had been done?

All i know is that i had all the pipework replaced as it was not lpg rated. The pipe from the regulator to the filter that splits in two for the two banks of injectors was the wrong size, and was so compressed by the jubilee clip it was cut or split causing a leak. The ecu was loose and floating around behind the headlight. The missing filter was before the three way one i think.
At least now its running better than it was, and not leaking gas into the engine bay.
I,m happy with the work done so far, and yes some injector cleaner, or poss a software tweak might be needed.
My Wife and kids had been driving around in that c

It does make you question why the pipes had been changed for the wrong ones in the first place. I only ever use E67R01 lpg pipes, vacuum pipes and water hoses do not need to have any special markings on them. The good thing with the stanching agent is the smallest amount of LPG you are going to smell.

I guess the ECU was moved for changing light bulbs and not refixed?

BTW I have stopped using those injectors due to life span issues. Some are fine some are not.

In your case it could just simply be that there is a build up of gunk in the injectors and they need a good clean. The AFC software does have a feature that shows you any difference in flow between each LPG injector so they can be tested that way.

Positioning of parts has also changed since then. I think that was the last one with the vapouriser by the bulkhead. This is what engine bays look like now

Vapouriser is under the battery tray and making access better and improves the pipe run from the tank.
ECU is by the fuse box
Injectors can now be in a Volvo rail or two blocks like what you have.

With some manual cars the ECU can be fitted to the ECU box.

Not that difficult. Best way will be to swap the tow rails over so that the spare injector is on the rail fitted to cyls 1 and 2.

So i have a rail on the left with a spare plug and injector, and a rail on the right with all three in use. If i swap them will that not move the timing around ?

No because you will be reconnecting the pipes in matching combination with the injector wires.

Injector wire one needs to stay with the pipe on cylinder 1, 2 with2, 3 with 3 etc
