Playing podcasts via Sensus
Hi folks,
The XC60 remains a delightful drive ornament but I spend a little time in there each day. I am currently wondering what the best approach is for playing podcasts. I can use Android Auto to effect a solution but would rather not and Stitcher doesn't seem to be available as an app from Volvo in the UK. How do you play your podcasts?

Podcast addict app on Android, either via Bluetooth or Android auto.
I was unhappy about no native support in Sensus as well. |

Spotify apparently has podcast support now, but you may need one of the recent software updates that can only be done at a dealer.
I use Android Auto. |

I use Media Monkey via android auto. Download podcasts on my PC and synchronise with the phone. The only problem I have with it is I find it difficult to select items in android auto (am I alone it this?), the system preferring to scroll to oblivion, rather than selecting the item my finger is on top of.
I tried bluetooth playback, but the volume control wasn't good and also there was no playback control, so playback got lost behind traffic and sat nav announcements. |
