Thoughts on a D4 SE V40?
Hi everyone,
I’m new here and am looking to replace my ageing BMW 1 Series. She’s nearly 10 years old and things are starting to cost me. I am quite keen on a V40 because of the comfort and the extras that you seem to get thrown in. Much better value than BMW. Someone local to me is selling their 65 reg D4 SE model. Seats look beige so I assume leather but they may be cloth! It’s a decent enough price. I like the spec of the D4 because of the extra bbo. Any thoughts here on a D4 or should I just stick with a D3? Budget is £8000-£10000 and don’t want anything older than 5 years. Thanks all, Alex |

Did you buy one? I am in almost exactly the same situation as my 2011 X1 is starting to get costly. Interested to hear your thoughts? Richard

The D4 is a great car, huge reserves of power but very smooth, refined and economical.
